DCCC Welding Certificate Meet & Greet

Need to hire welders now or in the near future? Are you seeking employees who enjoy welding or do you want to train future welders for free?

Join MACC/DC at a meet and greet opportunity at Delaware County Community College’s Advanced Technology Center. Meet soon-to-be graduates of a 225-hour hands-on Welding Certificate Program that prepares students for entry-level welding positions.

Students are expected to earn their certificates in August 2026. Join us to learn about the program, the students, and educators. Perhaps you’ll meet a future employee!

AGENDA

11:30 a.m.–12 p.m. Brief tour and overview presentation.

12–2:45 p.m. Lunch & meet-and-greet with current and past welding certificate students. Manufacturers will present their businesses and job openings, and students will deliver their “elevator pitch”.

12:45-1:15 p.m. Tables will be set up in the atrium area for employers and students to continue the conversation and exchange information.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
DCCC’s Welding Certificate Program delivers an introduction to welding and training in oxyfuel cutting, shielded metal arc welding, gas metal arc welding, blueprint reading and basic fabrication. These skills are in high demand and will prepare students for entry-level welding positions. Tickets for the Meet-and-Greet are FREE. Closed-toed shoes are required for visiting the welding classrooms.
