Laura Woerner is a twenty-year resident of Chester County, where she has raised her family and dedicated herself to numerous community and school-based organizations. Much of her work has focused on organizations such as The Wardrobe and Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Chester and Delaware Counties, which serve local under-resourced communities and individuals facing barriers to education and employment. Before relocating to Pennsylvania, Laura built her professional career in client relationship management roles with a Fortune 500 company, developing expertise in customer-focused solutions and relationship building. Her passion for connecting people with opportunities and resources ultimately led her to transition into workforce development. In 2025, Laura joined the Chester County Economic Development Council (CCEDC) as a Project Coordinator in the Workforce Development Department. In this role, she supports a range of workforce initiatives, including Hire One and Health Care Connect, helping to strengthen employer partnerships, connect talent with opportunity, and promote a thriving workforce economy throughout Chester County.

Bethanie Emery is a dedicated to community development with a passion for helping individuals achieve personal and economic success. She began her career in higher education, spending 12 years supporting students through academic, personal, and life challenges. Her commitment to student success led her to leadership roles, ultimately overseeing Student Services team and developing programs designed to help students thrive both inside and outside the classroom. After stepping away from the traditional workforce to raise her three children, Bethanie spent eight years as a stay-at-home mom, mastering the art of organization, multitasking, and leadership while managing a busy household and active family life. Returning to her professional career, Bethanie joined the workforce development department at CCEDC, where she now supports initiatives that strengthen both individuals and the broader community. She has led a variety of impactful programs, including Health Care Connect and Hire One, helping connect job seekers and employers while addressing critical workforce needs across the region. Through her work, Bethanie remains committed to creating pathways to economic opportunity, empowering individuals to achieve meaningful career growth, and contributing to the long-term prosperity of Southeastern PA and its communities
