Testimonials from Job Seekers who attended Hire One’s previous networking event:
“This was a really unique format to speak directly with employers.”
“Great sharing of connections amongst employers and job seekers – unlike anything I have ever attended!”
“Everyone keeps telling me that it’s all about the networking and now I understand why!”
Registration is FREE for qualified job seekers (must have a minimum of five years professional level work experience and have earned a salary of at least $45,000. Most participating firms will be looking for candidates who have a four year degree, however, all are welcome to attend)/ Pre-registration is required and space is limited.
At similar Hire One networking events, several job seekers made important connections for referrals that lead to interview opportunities and for some, a new job! Hire One is hosting this event again to bring professional level job seekers together with firms that are hiring. Certainly, when you are looking for a job you need to network. Approximately 80% of the people who get hired are “referred” into an organization.
The purpose of this meeting is to build relationships and a network of associates. This is a business meeting, not a job fair. Please do not bring your resume to this meeting as this is intended to be an opportunity to connect face-to-face with employers who are hiring. Every Job Seeker looking for work in and around the Chester County area (including Berks, Montco, Delco, Bucks, and Philadelphia) should attend this free event. Hiring Managers and Human Resources professionals from the Energy, Information Technology, Healthcare, Financial Services, Manufacturing, and other fields are expected to be in attendance. Hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be provided.
Join us to meet and network with this unique group of decision makers and very well connected individuals who might be able to introduce you to your next employer!
If you have any questions, please contact Jim Lauckner, Hire One Sr. Project Manager.
This event is funded in part by the Chester County Workforce Development Board.
